The final round of 2006 Mission Hills Golfathon was played on Norman Course on September 10 after 4 months of qualifying period. After the tee-off ceremony at Tournament Square in Dongguan, 100 finalists from Senior, Men, Ladies and Junior Divisions rounded this year’s Mission Hills Golfathon off with their intense competition in the final round, finishing their conquest of the ultimate 180-hole’s challenge.

With the great support of members and guests, the number of participants in the 3rd Golfathon has made a new record of 1,500 with 120 “iron men”. Apart from having its own trophy, the tournament has also attracted Charriol, Hennessy, Watsons, Meashine Golf, Srixon, Cultural & Entertainment Holidays, and Macgregor to be the sponsors.

At the prize presentation ceremony held in the afternoon, Mr. Tenniel Chu, Executive Director of Mission Hills Golf Club, stated that Mission Hills would bring Golfathon innovative ideas every year and hopefully would make it an international tournament in the future!
