Tournament Duration
Qualifying:
1 May 2008 – 31 August 2008
(Monday – Friday, except Hong Kong public holidays)

Eligibility to Participate
- Open to all individual amateur players, men and ladies, seniors and juniors.
- All players must properly register for the tournament by completing the Tournament Entry Form and submit it to the Tournament Office, Mission Hills Golf Club, China by 24 August 2008.

Closing date: 24 August 2008

Handicap Requirement
Men – Maximum handicap is 24
Ladies – Maximum handicap is 36
Juniors- Maximum handicap is 24 for boys and 36 for girls.
All participants must have proof of a valid handicap.

Divisions
Players shall be grouped into the following divisions according to their sex and age (as of 1 May 2008):
- Senior Division (Players of age 55 and above)
- Men Division ( Players of ages 16-54)
- Ladies Division (Female players of ages 16 and above)
- Junior Division (Boys and Girls of ages 8-15)

Tee Boxes
- Men’s Senior Division : White tee
- Men’s Division: Blue tee
- Ladies Division: Red tee
- Junior Division:
Boys of Ages 13-15 White tees
Boys of Ages Under 13 Red tees
Girls of Ages 8-15 Red tees
Note: Men of age 55 and above and Junior Boys of handicaps 18 and below may declare to play in the Men’s Division if they wish to tee off from the Blue Tees. This should be declared in the Entry Forms. |

Tournament Format
The format of play shall be 180 Holes Individual Double Peoria Strokeplay Competition. |

Double Peoria Handicap System
- Select any holes randomly with pars adding up to 48.
- Add up scores of the 12 holes selected.
- Multiply the sum by 1.5
- Subtract 72 to give full handicap value.
- Multiply 0.8 to give the Double Peoria handicap value.

Pairing
For fairness sake, all pairings must be done by the Tournament Office in such a way that the opponents shall act as markers for each other in each golf round. Therefore, a minimum of two players per flight shall be required.

Tournament Results
The decisions of the tournament committee and the tournament director as to any disputes, rulings and results are valid and final.

Disclaimer
- Mission Hills reserves the right to limit the number of entries and modify the tournament in any way it deems desirable.
- The Tournament Committee reserves the right to disqualify any player making a false statement on their Entry Form or Score Card.
- Should any disputes arise from any of the tournament regulations, Mission Hills reserves the right to have the final decision.
