After a lengthy 4-month competition, the 5th annual Mission Hills Golfathon came to a successful close on September 13, 2008. For the final, Mission Hills held a grand tee-off ceremony at the Dongguan Clubhouse in the morning, with the honored attendance of officiating guest Mr Valen Tan, Vice-President of Golf and Business Development of Mission Hills.  Also attending were sponsor delegates from Charriol and Porsche, as well as celebrities Mr Paul Chin and Mr Tan Lau from the Artiste Golf Association of Hong Kong. The final commenced at 11:00 a.m. and more than 100 golferscompeted for the ultimate honor on the Olazabal Course, which is also the host venue for the Omega Mission Hills World Cup to be held during November 27-30, 2008.
